Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

DW Property aims to promote diversity in the composition of its workforce and equal pay for equal work. To monitor whether the policy is working well in practice, a "Diversity and Pay Gap" analysis is carried out regularly.

Age groups

The composition of the age groups within DW Property is similar to the age distribution of the entire workforce in the Netherlands and Germany. We encourage the inflow of young professionals and offer ample opportunities for further development as broadly as possible. On the other hand, we attach importance to retaining knowledge and experience and try to retain experienced professionals for our organisation by facilitating knowledge and development and offering growth opportunities.

Gender distribution

Half of our Supervisory Board consists of women. The proportion of women on the organisation's board has increased significantly compared to 2022 and is almost in line with the distribution in the organisation as a whole, albeit very slightly lower than the distribution in the entire company due to the relatively small number of directors and low staff turnover. The proportion of women on DW Property's board is, however, significantly above the diversity percentage reported by GRESB in 2022. The entire workforce of the Dutch and German organisations consists of almost half women by 2023. Our share of female participation is thus higher than the gender diversity rate reported by GRESB in 2022.

Pay gap analysis

DW Property does not discriminate in gender pay. The number of employees within the organisation as a whole is limited. Employees are spread across two countries, five departments, again comprising four job levels. As a result, there is insufficient basis to make a job-specific analysis.

Ambition

DW Property aims to achieve a proportionate distribution of men and women in all positions. During 2023, available board positions have been filled mainly by female candidates (internal flow and external recruitment), further increasing diversity within the board. DW Property aims to continue this development within all job and age groups. This is being actively pursued.
