Our working method

Our approach is based on integrity and compliance, both internally and externally, for and with our partners, business associates and shareholders.

To meet this requirement, we have implemented a code of conduct and a whistle-blower scheme. The code of conduct, which must be observed by all employees concerned, sets out our standards and values. It also sets out how employees should act in specific situations. The purpose of laying this down in writing is to create clarity from a preventative angle. The whistle-blower scheme is there to expose abuses in an organisation. It gives our employees a way of reporting abuses and unethical conduct.

ISAE3402

We have also had a number of our business processes certified. For example, we have implemented ISAE3402 in a large number of our funds to control risk management, information security and anti-fraud measures. ISEA3402 Type I focuses on the design of the system and on the presence of control measures, and Type II relates to their effective operation. Some of our certified processes include acquisition, development, disposition, valuation and financing.

INREV

We are also a member of INREV, a European non-profit association for investors in unlisted real estate. INREV is a platform for the exchange of knowledge that aims to improve transparency, professionalism and best practices in the sector. Many large real estate parties such as banks, institutional investors and investment companies are members of INREV. In our financial reporting for Dekor Vastgoed, we report in accordance with the INREV Guidelines.
